Clarity were put together by vocalist Simon Wallace, a key figure in 80s & 90s British gospel music, who would go on to found the group Chosen in the late 1990s. This record was produced and arranged by seasoned reggae & jazz guitarist (and later band-member with the award-winning Jazz Jamaica) Alan Weekes for his Bpop label, originally seeing release in 1985.

Just an all-round stellar record & one of the best examples of funk music from this mid-80s era, no messin'.
